The four Frisco zip codes

Frisco proper uses four standard zip codes: 75033, 75034, 75035, and 75036. They break down roughly by direction. 75034 is the original west and central zip, and it holds the parts of Frisco that came first: the Rail District downtown, Frisco Square, The Star, and Stonebriar Centre. 75035 covers the east side and carries the largest share of the population. 75033 sits to the northwest. 75036 fills in the southwest toward Lewisville Lake.

These directions describe the general shape, not hard lines. Zip code borders follow postal routes rather than neat neighborhood edges, so a few streets near a boundary can land in a zip you would not expect. When it matters for mail or a form, confirm the exact address on the USPS lookup.

The 75036 split

75036 is the newcomer. The Postal Service created it on July 1, 2018, carving it out of 75034 to keep up with the growth in southwest Frisco. The new zip took in the area bordered by Cottonwood Branch and Main Street on the north, Teel Parkway on the east, and Lewisville Lake on the south and west. If you have an older record that lists a southwest Frisco address as 75034, that is why. The 75033 and 75035 areas did not change.

Edge cases and nearby zips

A handful of addresses along the city limits carry a neighboring postal city name even though they sit in or near Frisco. That is normal for a city that grew as fast as this one. The four zips above are the ones that define Frisco itself. For the wider story of that growth, from a railroad stop of a few thousand people to more than 225,000, see our Frisco facts page.
